How to Cleanse Your Liver

This is a very simple cleanse that anyone can do. Use it if you’re having liver problems, gallstones, or just for general health.

What you’ll need:

  • Granny Smith apples to juice or organic, unpasteurized apple juice
  • Carrot juice
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice

Instructions: Each day, for 2-3 days, drink juice made from Granny Smith apples, made in your own juicer if possible. Drink as much as you need to keep the hunger pangs at bay. If you need a change of taste, supplement this with carrot juice. Also, continue to drink plenty of water. You may take any vitamins or supplements you’re on, too. These will be the only things you put in your body. NO FOOD!

At the end of the third day, mix 1/2 cup of fresh-squeezed lemon juice with 1/2 cup organic olive oil. Drink this down. Yes, drink the oil. Lie down on your right side, and go ahead and take a nap or go to bed. When you wake up, you will go to the bathroom. Have fun!

Think of this cleanse recipe as a suggestion, rather than a prescription. It may not work for everyone, and people may experience different results. You should always consult a medical professional before beginning any diet, cleanse, or fast.

Thanks for checking us out, Ayesha. Not sure about the vinegar and jam, though from what I’ve read, it should be ok, as long as the jam isn’t sweetened with aspartame. Try checking out the following websites for more info on a hepatitis-friendly diet:
